During the initial meeting I’ll ask you what brings you here, I will listen and ask questions to try and start to get some understanding of you. If we decide that counselling is going to be helpful – and that I’m the right person to help you – then we’ll discuss how many sessions we should meet for.
I can do brief, focused therapy (usually 6-8 sessions or longer) or open-ended work. We’ll start off by meeting once a week and each session lasts for fifty minutes.
